- Comment Relevance – Any comment that appears to be off-topic will be edited or deleted.
- Email Privacy – Please use a valid e-mail address when commenting. It will not be displayed unless you type it in the body of your comment and you will not be subscribed to any mailing list by leaving a comment.
- Keywords in Author Names – We prefer that you use your real name or your normal nickname. If we suspect you’re using an author name to simply include targeted keywords, we’ll either edit or delete your comment.
- Links – Feel free to include external links as long as they are relevant to the original post and your comment. If you leave a comment with a link in it that has no relevance to the post you’re commenting on it could be deleted.
- Profanity – We reserve the right to edit out anything offensive.
- Personal Attacks – Personal attacks on the authors or other commentators will result in an immediate ban.
- If Comment Does Not Appear – If comment does not appear and you know it does not violate the comment policies, email us.
- Hold Harmless – All comments within this blog are the responsibility of the commenter, not the blog owner, administrator, editor, or author. When you submit a comment on our blog you agree that the comment content is your own and you hold this site, AfricanAncestry.com, and all subsidiaries and representatives harmless from any and all repercussions, damages, or liability.
- Editor’s Right – While we encourage comments that challenge or offer constructive criticism, we reserve the right to edit or remove any post, for any reason.
